Education Out Loud has just launched a call for expression of interest to become part of a roster of Learning Partners in Asia Pacific Region for the remaining period of 2020 and 2021. 

About Education Out Loud

The Education Out Loud programme (EOL) is a fund for advocacy and social accountability, that supports civil society to be active and influential in shaping education policy.

The three main objectives of EOL are: 

1. Strengthen national civil society engagement in education planning, policy dialogue and monitoring

2. Strengthen civil society roles in promoting the transparency and accountability of national education sector policy and implementation

3. Create a stronger global and transnational enabling environment for national civil society advocacy and transparency efforts

The learning agenda

EOL has a specific focus and interest on learning and capacity building of grantees. The learning agenda aims at supporting grantees in developing organizational, thematic and advocacy competences through capacity building, learning and adaptive management to enhance relevance, effectiveness and efficiency of program interventions. As part of the capacity building agenda, each grantee has developed a learning plan which outlines its learning needs and objectives and now require learning partners to facilitate the learning process. The learning partner will be responsible for designing and delivering capacity building initiatives derived from the grantees' learning plans. 

We invite applications from expert organizations or institutions who wish to act as Learning Partners to support capacity building of grantees/Civil Society Organisations in the Asia and Pacific Region. 

Ecucation Out Loud currently supports grantees from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Moldova, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, The Philippines, Samoa Solomon Islands, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Vanuatu and Vietnam.
