This will allow current EOL grantees and a few new applicants to submit proposals for new EOL funding. Please find details about deadlines, requirements, and process below.

And congratulations to all of us for being granted additional support from GPE and thereby allowed to continue the important work undertaken under Education Out Loud.

OC1
Restricted call for proposals will launch on May 29. Deadline July 21st.
Application guidelines will soon be available and shared directly with all eligible applicants

Details and requirements:
The extension recognizes the importance of civil society organisations in shaping education policies that ensure inclusive and equitable quality learning. Grants are first and foremost awarded to allow current EOL grantees to continue and deepen present projects.

In the new proposals applicants are expected to:

  1. First and foremost adjust and further develop to better harmonize with GPE's 2025 strategic plan. This strategy has an increased focus on gender and inclusion, and applicants for the extended EOL grant are expected to suggest ways to work strategically with this in relation to education advocacy.
  2. In this round of calls there will be a particular focus on fragility and organisations and coalitions working in fragile contexts are encouraged to thoroughly consider and suggest ways to work with education advocacy under these conditions.
  3. All applications are expected to entail careful considerations about sustainability - programmatic, financial as well as organisational. More details to be found in the applications guidelines that are (OC3) or will soon be uploaded (OC1 and OC2).

The guidelines will also be shared directly with eligible grantees together with the invitation to submit a proposal.
