Education Out Loud is the world’s largest fund supporting both civil society advocacy and accountability for education with a funding envelope of US$133 million.

Financed by Global Partnership for Education, Education Out Loud is managed by Oxfam Denmark and overseen by GPE’s Board of Directors.

The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is dedicated to building stronger education systems in the world´s poorest countries in order to assure inclusive and equitable quality learning.

Secretariat

The Education Out Loud secretariat consists of four Regional Management Units, and a Global Management Unit with the organization Oxfam Denmark.

  • Regional Management Unit for Western and Central Africa based in Dakar, Senegal
  • Regional Management Unit for Latin America and the Caribbean based in Mexico City, Mexico
  • Regional Management Unit for Horn, Eastern and Southern Africa based in Kampala, Uganda
  • Regional Management Unit for Asia and Pacific based in Kathmandu, Nepal
  • Global Management Unit based in Copenhagen Denmark 

While the Global Management Unit coordinates the overall Education Out Loud program, the Regional Management Units work closely with the grant recipients in their region and support them throughout the course of the program.
