GCE and ASPBAE have held an instructive and inspiring Capacity Building Workshop on Civil Society Spotlight Reports for the High Level Political Forum (HLPF) 2022.

It was recorded so you can visit or revisit the entire workshop through this link. (Access Passcode: 82BaNRv@)

Some coalitions have now developed quite a deal of experience in writing Spotlight Reports, with support from ASPBAE over the last 2 years especially. This event with inputs from ASPBAE staff is a good opportunity to either brush up or to learn for the first time about methods to develop Spotlight Reports.

The countries in the Asia Pacific region due to provide Voluntary National Reviews in 2022 are: Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Tuvalu, however spotlight reports can of course be a valuable tool for all coalitions in analysing national education policy and using it as a springboard for advocacy.
