- Study on application of Adaptive Management in EOL project implementation in the Horn, Eastern and Southern Africa by Arab Network for Civic Education (ANHRE). The study helped shape the Adaptive Management guidelines in Education Out Loud.

- Study on key relevant transnational policy spaces, tactics and strategies for CSOs participation in Transnational education policy Advocacy in the Horn, East, Southern African Region by Arab Network for Civic Education (ANHRE)
- Civil society and national education policy: a literature review by Abrehet Gebremedhin, Felipe J. Hevia, and Naomi Hossain, Accountability Research Center, American University. This review provides an analytical overview of the role played by civil society in education policy.
- Education Out Loud Policy Guidance Note on Inclusion and Gender Equality. This guidance note was developed to provide a framework for how the Education Out Loud programme works with inclusion and gender issues. It provides a succinct overview to how inclusion and gender concepts are operationalised in EOL in support of the significant role of civil society in advancing these agendas.

- The role of civil society in national education policy in the global South: an annotated bibliography compiled by Madeline Martinez, Accountability Research Center, American University. This bibliography takes stock of the evidence about how civic action has shaped education policy.
- Exploring education advocacy in challenging contexts of conflict and closing civic space. Video (23 min) in original English version, and in versions with French, Portuguese and Spanish subtitles. In the video civil society actors, who participated in an action research process, share key learnings with the aim of informing other practitioners
- Exploring education advocacy in challenging contexts of conflict and closing civic space: Discussion Guide for use with video. Institute of Development Studies (IDS) developed this guide to support grantees and others in using the video with the same title effectively to share learning from the action research process with others.
- Action Research on Education Out Loud advocacy in challenging contexts: Process Note by Rosie McGee and Colin Anderson, Institute of Development Studies. This note, developed by a Global Learning Partner, provides practical guidance on how to conduct action research in partnerships with civil society organisations.
- ICT tools for improving transparency and accountability in education, an interactive map by UNESCO-IIEP, an EOL Global Learning Partner. The map showcases country-specific initiatives of how ICT tools have been put to use to strengthen accountability.

- Three course modules by MDF & ACER, an EOL Global Learning Partner, which are made available on the Learning Hub of the Global Campaign for Education. The modules for self-paced learning cover three topics relevant for civil society advocates in education: Using action research to strengthen your advocacy and policy-influencing; Enhance your advocacy programme with the Social Change Matrix; and good practices of citizen-led advocacy in different contexts.

- Best Practice on how to ensure continuation of education during conflict, documented by GRADE, Niger – former OC3 grantee in Benin. The learning product was a result of the Learning Collaborative on Education in Emergencies in West& Central Africa facilitated by Dr. Bana Barka, INEE focal point.
- Best Practice on advocacy strategies to influence policy on school re-entry for pregnant girls and adolescent mothers in Tanzania by TEN/MET (Tanzanian Education Network). The best practice takes us through strategies and adaptive approaches in influencing and succeeding in changing this policy for the benefit of pregnant girls and adolescent mothers that would otherwise lose out on education.
- Webinar (recording): The Role of Civil Society in National Education Policy in the Global South. An expert panel discusses the role of social movements in knowledge-making, south-south partnerships of CSOs to promote learning outcomes, transnational support for national education coalitions, and the experiences of grassroots organizing in shrinking civic spaces.
- Education Out Loud Case Study: Institute of Informatics and Development (IID) supported by MDF&ACER. The case study documents civil society advocacy and policy influencing in Bangladesh and how these efforts impacted education policy.
- Education Out Loud Case Study: GEAR Alliance supported by MDF&ACER. The case study documents civil society advocacy and policy influencing in a transnational setting in East Africa.
- Education Out Loud Case Study: School for Life supported by MDF&ACER. The case study documents civil society advocacy and policy influencing I Ghana.
- PlanED Episode 7: Participatory educational planning with civil society organizations, Podcast by UNESCO-IIEP, with experts and education advocates presenting their experiences and insights on how to influence education planning.
