About Education Out Loud
AMEI is an advocacy and social accountability project aimed at highlighting barriers that exist preventing pregnant girls and adolescent mothers returning to school in DRC, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
Five transnational civil society alliances have been selected to receive full implementation grants from Education Out Loud to work on different projects aiming to create a stronger global and transnational enabling environment for civil society advocacy and transparency efforts.
In preparation for a GPE decision on extending EOL operational Component 1 to 2022-23, the GPE Secretariat commissioned a rapid review of OC1. The report was prepared in June-July 2021 and was submitted to GPE secretariat in August. On September 2, the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) approved an additional US$17.3 million for Education Out Loud to support national education coalitions in their education advocacy and social accountability work.
Five civil society organisations and their consortium partners have been selected for grants from Education Out Loud to support civil society’s role in promoting the transparency and accountability of national education sector policy and implementation.
In April 2020 the first ten applicants were chosen as recipients of support during Year Zero. We are now happy to announce that nine more transnational alliances have been selected to receive support from Education Out Loud to develop their full proposals during the Year Zero process.
